This project in Bogotá, Colombia, reflects our core philosophy: spaces that evolve with time, embody personal narratives, and harmonize past and present. The apartment, in the family for over 30 years, blends art, treasured objects, and furniture collected over decades with contemporary pieces designed specifically for the space by Veronica Mishaan.

Design Notes
The full renovation introduced wide-plank oak flooring custom-tinted by Veronica, a lighting concept blending discreet recessed fixtures with decorative and furniture-integrated pieces, and walls refinished in smooth plaster for a refined, timeless backdrop. The layout was reimagined to reflect the owner's current lifestyle, honoring the past while making room for how the family lives now.
The art collection anchors the space with cultural and emotional significance, featuring works by Peter Halley, Sophia Vari, Pedro Ruiz, and Larraz. In the primary bedroom, a dark blue Blossom wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries creates a serene, transportive atmosphere reminiscent of a peaceful garden.
Design Notes
The living room features a custom sofa upholstered in Lee Jofa wool, paired with marble-top tables and a cast bronze water lily table, arranged in the round to encourage connection. As Veronica says, "A successful space is one that generates conversation."
Pops of color including a lacquered home office, a sage green playroom add vibrancy throughout, while a bunk room with custom beds serves visiting grandchildren. In the bathrooms, new tile and marble were paired with the original Kohler sinks, preserved as a nod to the home's layered history.
