Tribeca Apartment
Our goal was to use the apartment's spectacular natural light to showcase the clients' style, their love of art, and their diverse culture. The living area serves as the social focal point; an airy setting for entertaining, with cozy reading nooks along the windows. With such striking views of Lower Manhattan, there's no need for a television to compete for attention. The two bedrooms offer comfort through warm palettes and plush textures.

Design Notes
The apartment combines custom-made furniture with carefully selected antiques. The art is the clients' own curation, reflecting their Latin American and Russian backgrounds. The dining table was designed specifically for the space, built from aged leather and brass with a low-iron, thin glass top. The sofas incorporate a chaise longue element, joining the living and dining areas into a single flexible arrangement for entertaining. The window-fitted reading nooks, upholstered in silk ikat by Madeline Weinrib, double as group seating. Custom side tables and a bar complete the room, alongside three signature pieces by Veronica Mishaan including a ceramic bowl, a gilded ashtray, and a porcelain tea set.
The apartment is driven by color and texture rather than by its walls, which stay stark white; the clients' art collection carries the color and personality instead. Beyond the art, the palette stays rooted in natural tones, beige, grey, brown, with leather, thick linen, silk, velvet, and brass adding body and depth throughout.
