The concept behind this Water Mill residence was to bring people together. Rather than simply arranging furniture, each room was composed to encourage conversation, connection, and effortless living.

Design Notes
The living room is anchored by an oversized custom curved sofa paired with a signature Veronica Mishaan Collection coffee table, transforming the home's long proportions into an intimate gathering space. Outdoors, custom square dining tables set the stage for long summer meals, while the kitchen becomes the natural heart of the home around a deep blue island crowned with Calacatta Gold marble.
Natural materials establish a quiet sense of luxury throughout: reclaimed limestone, handcrafted zellige tile, richly veined marble, and warm white oak bring texture and permanence, while a palette of earthy neutrals is punctuated by deep blues and teals for added depth.
Design Notes
Beyond the aesthetic transformation, the home was extensively reimagined to function better for modern family life as the kitchen was expanded, a new first-floor primary suite was introduced, the second-floor primary suite was reconfigured, and every bathroom was redesigned.
Custom craftsmanship defines nearly every room, from the sculptural fireplace mirror and freestanding white oak and brass bar, another signature Veronica Mishaan Collection piece, to the bespoke bathroom vanities, kitchen, dining table, and outdoor furnishings. Each piece was designed specifically for the architecture and lifestyle of the home. Decorative lighting and signature pieces from Rug & Kilim, Exquisite Surfaces, and Oly Studio, alongside curated vintage lighting, further enrich the home's character throughout.
